This week I’m 600 kilometres north of McLaren Vale in the South Australian outback mining town of Roxby Downs. In this episode I explain why I love that the ‘cogs’ of any community are reliant on each other for success. This is often more blurry in metropolitan areas, but here in the outback the purpose for the town, its infrastructure and its community is crystal clear.
The quality of this film won’t win any awards (I didn’t pack the tripod!) but hopefully you get my message! Turns out that wasn’t Olympic Dam mine on the tip of my finger… it was a bush. But you may catch a glimpse if you look closely!
