The Southern Metropolitan Regional Management Forum (SMRMF) is a group of committed regional leaders from governments working together to drive a greater cooperation, collaboration and innocation between state and local government and statutory authorities. The forum focus on key issues impacting on the region and addresses agreed priorities.
The SMRMF Engagement Project Model involved working with multiple staff across a variety of organisations to workshop, learn and deliberate on the topic of community engagement. The outcome of the project was a Community Engagement Resource, prepared by Jim Cavaye. The project was a partnership co-funded by the Victorian Government and members of the SMRMF.
Becky Hirst, operating as TableTalk Engagement, worked alongside Jim Cavaye to produce the chapter ‘Use of Social Media’ within the resource. This involved facilitating a learning workshop on the Mornington Peninusla, presenting to senior management to seek input and preparation of content for the resource.
