As part of the development of an Environmental Plan, the City of Charles Sturt have been following a process of engagement with key stakeholders.

Becky Hirst was invited to plan and facilitate a workshop with key stakeholders as part of this process. It was felt that an independent facilitator with knowledge and skills to get the best possible input from participants would add value to the engagement process.

The highly participatory workshop included asking participants to –

• – Review the 700+ ‘raw’ comments that were received during the first two stages of consultation
• – Sort them into ‘Themes’ and add additional categories
• – Identify further gaps in this information – what has been missed?
• – Tell us about any concerns…
• – Identify what would be good and great outcome under each topic area.
