Become an outward-facing Council by creating a robust and progressive Community Engagement Framework

As a senior leader in the public service, a large amount of your time can be spent reacting to individual community members or interest groups on single focus issues. This can be time-consuming, resource intensive and rarely achieves an outcome that has all involved feeling satisfied.

It doesn’t have to be that way.

Imagine your Council being on the front-foot with the way it proactively connects with the community.

Imagine that you have a strategic framework for how you intend to work together with your residents and ratepayers.

Imagine that the way you intend to connect with community regarding decision making is reflected in the governance and operational structure of your organisation.

Imagine having Elected members, your senior leadership team, staff and community members all committed to a framework of what working together in decision-making looks like.

Imagine your Council being a world leader in how it effectively works together with residents and ratepayers to make the right decisions, first time.

Imagine no more.
